Hounslow Council is inviting residents and the local community to join its free Black History Month Launch event at Hounslow House. The event will celebrate the achievements, contributions and cultural heritage of black communities across Hounslow, bringing people together for an afternoon of inspiration, entertainment, connection and celebration.
What to expect:
- Be inspired by guest speakers, including Rodgers Orero from Riana Development Network, as they share insights into the power and impact of community-led initiatives.
- Experience live music and performances, including The Power of Rhythm from students at Springwest Academy, celebrating diversity and creativity.
- Connect and network with local residents, organisations and community leaders while enjoying a complimentary lunch from Heritage Kitchen and Bar, featuring African and Caribbean cuisine.
This is an opportunity to celebrate Black history and culture, recognise community achievements and inspire future generations.
